Because of of my direct experience with the incredible therapeutic benefits of hot stone massage and my background as a Stone Medicine Instructor and Master LaStone Therapist, Creature Comforts bodywork specializes in this form of treatment. Because I feel called to offer this unique form of healing therapy to as many people as possible, I do not charge more for a stone treatment than I do for a regular treatment. If you do not wish me to use the stones for your treatment, please let me know and I will be happy to adjust accordingly.

I offer the following discounts for you to save some money on your sessions:

• Prepay for 4 sessions and pay only $45 + tax per session (they will be given to you in the form of gift certificates, so you can give them as gifts)
• Have a regularly scheduled, set appointment time AT LEAST once a month, you will receive your massage at $45/hour ($60/ hour and a half).  This does not mean that you or I can’t change the time, but having a set appointment gives us both of us something to look forward to.

Deep Stone Massage: Similar to the Swedish Stone Massage in the utilization of heated and cooled stones, this treatment is designed to help release areas of chronic pain and tension. The cool stones are used to draw out heat and inflammation, relieve pain and create balance in the body. Knots of tension seem to "melt" under the slow, steady pressure of the marble stone in this unique healng modality.

Stone Reflexology: This treatment is based on the principle that there are zones in your hands and feet that correspond to all areas of your body. By applying focused pressure to these reflexes with my hands and with stones, reflexology can help to balance all of the body's systems and help your body to function the way that it was designed to.

Warm and cool stones are used on the feet in addition to pressure from my hands to deeply affect reflex points. Warm stones are placed on and around the body to bring relaxation. Stones may also be placed under you for you to lie on during the treatment, making this a truly full body treatment for enhanced health and wellness.

Combination Stone Massage/Reflexology: A full body Swedish Stone massage with a half hour of stone reflexology.

$70 / hour and a half

Rainbath Treatment: This treatment comes directly from traditional Native American healing practices. It utilizes essential oils and stones in a treatment that will aid iin detoxification and leave you feeling refreshed and energized. The oils are applied to your back in a specific sequence while hot and cool stones are used to enhance the absorption of the oils into the body.

By applying the oils directly to the spine, they are absorbed almost immediately and can directly affect the nervous system and make their way into the body's control center, the brain. The oils are designed to work synergistically together to promote balance and wellness in the body.

Stone Medicine: A traditional Native American healing modality that combines ceremony with stone massage to create a unique healing experience that will benefit your mind, body and spirit and help connect you to the healing energies of Mother Earth.

Shaman Stones: This treatment offers the gifts of the crystal tribe to assist the client in achieving wellness. Crystals in a rainbow of colors are laid on and around the body to influence the body's electrical system and fluids. This is all incorporated into a traditional Geo Thermal Therapy / Stone massage session.
